About You

What does it take to be a Full Stack Developer at Creditplus? A commercial focus, genuine hunger for self-development and a desire to be challenged. You’ll look at the end goal but ensure the customer journey is at it’s optimum. 

You’ll consider yourself to be a change professional with the ability to quickly identify operational efficiencies and offer solutions to create real impact.

You’ll want to roll your sleeves up and do whatever is required to support the business at every level. Your desire to understand first in order to aspire to do things right, the first time will be evident in all you do.

The ability to learn is paramount to the candidate’s success in this role. Self-directed study and learning from others is the only way our developers bring themselves and our business forward.

  • A proven track record of delivering high-quality software products and services 
  • Clarifying Requirements – interpreting and negotiating needs and requirements for high-quality solutions across the business
  • Solution / Architecture Design – understanding current systems and architecture and interpreting business processes into the workflow solution
  • Source Control Management – understanding the benefits and limitations of different SCMs (GIT, TFS etc)
  • Testing – unit testing, functional testing black box, white box, exploratory etc
  • Coding Principles – implementing solutions according to SOLID, DRY and ACID
  • Build and Deployment – Knowledge and understanding of Continuous Integration hosted environments (Azure, IIS etc) and conforming to best practise with regards to the wider release process
  • Diagnosing Issues on Existing Systems – analytical approach to using diagnostic tools to identify issues and logging them, isolating and fixing these issues
  • Business Intelligence, Collaboration, Communication and Review – working on own and in a team, code reviews and knowledge sharing and ability to summarise data in a useful and versatile format for non-technical audiences
  • Continuous Review of Latest Technology and Trends – take responsibility for own personal development and keeping up to date with new and emerging technologies and trends
What Will You Do?

You will be involved in developing and maintaining our own internal systems as well as developing new and exciting greenfield projects.


  • Develop modern state-of-the-art software
  • Support existing systems and develop new and future systems
  • Work in a fast-paced team-oriented environment where change is constant and needs to be managed

Predominantly, we’re a Microsoft stack team but that doesn’t stop us from exploring new technologies and platforms. React Native and Angular are both in use for example. So once again, embracing new technologies is really the most important attribute for our next graduate to have. Here are some expectations of our more senior developers:


  • Languages, Mark-up and Notation: C#, .NET, PHP, JavaScript, VB, HTML, CSS, XML, JSON
  • Libraries, Tools and Frameworks: ASP.NET, EF6, Angular 6
  • Repositories: NuGet, NPM, Git, TFS
  • IDEs: Visual Studios 2019, Visual Code, SSMS 2017
  • Other Technologies: T-SQL, IIS, Active Directory, Azure, Node, HTTP, SOAP
  • Design Patterns: OOP, MVC, Dependency Injection, Observer
