Melissa Melissa joined us back in September 2017 and can generally be found lurking on Twitter and keeping up to date on all things car-related. As well as managing our various social channels, she writes content for the Creditplus blog and has exciting plans to revamp our YouTube channel.

The burning questions

What do you like most about working in social media?

I enjoy the pace and the creativity of digital marketing. More and more companies are having fun with social media and using it as an opportunity to build real rapport with their customers. For me, no two days are the same and I like having the freedom to think outside the box, be a bit cheeky and ultimately build great relationships with our customers. 

What's it like working at Creditplus?

The most important thing to me, in any job, is feeling like I can make creative decisions and have a real say in how we do things. The culture here is very collaborative and each member of our marketing team has their own unique strengths. It's lovely working with people who share your vision and bring great ideas, knowledge and experience to the table. My suggestions are taken on board, I'm able to branch out into other areas like content writing and video production and ultimately, I feel valued. 

What will 2018 bring?

We are launching some exciting new products this year and expanding our team massively, so I'm looking forward to being a part of that. I'm also excited to start creating interesting and engaging video content for our YouTube channel.
